Dancing Her Back Pain (and Alimony) Away
BELLY DANCING ENDS NYC WOMAN'S DISABILITY CLAIM
(Findlaw's Law & Daily Life) - Facebook is a known problem when it comes to divorce, but personal blogs aren't any better. Dorothy McGurk has learned this the hard way. The belly dancing blogger is in hot water after her ex-husband discovered that she isn't actually disabled--a claim that netted her $850 a month and the house during their divorce.

Why Georgia, Why?
GEORGIA APPROVES ARIZONA-LIKE IMMIGRATION LAW
(FindLaw's Law & Daily Life) - On the heels of the 9th Circuit's decision to uphold the preliminary injunction limiting enforcement of Arizona's S.B. 1070 immigration law, the state of Georgia has jumped into the immigration game. The state legislature passed its very own Arizona-like law late last Thursday, citing the failure of the federal government to prevent illegal immigration.

Battle of the Ex-es
BROOKE MUELLER'S REHAB PROMPTS CHARLIE SHEEN TO CUSTODY BATTLE
(FindLaw's Celebrity Justice) - After a reported week-long drug binge that allegedly involved a stop at a pawn shop, Brooke Mueller is back in one of California's posh rehab facilities. At the end of last week, Mueller refused to take a random drug test, which is part of her custody agreement with Charlie Sheen. In a potentially preemptive strike, she admitted herself into the facility, leaving her children with her parents. Both Brooke Mueller and Sheen are back in court today, with Sheen petitioning the judge for custody of the pair's 2-year-old twin boys. Given his own track record, this may not be so easy.

Are Additives Making Them Loopy?
DO CHEETOS, GATORADE, FROOT LOOPS AFFECT KIDS' ADHD SYMPTOMS?
(FindLaw's Common Law) - Can some food dyes make hyperactive kids more hyper? Do Cheetos, Maraschino cherries, Gatorade or Froot Loops make kids bounce off the walls? A Food and Drug Administration (FDA) panel took up the question last week, which was first asked in the 1970s. Consumer groups say food additives, such as dyes, can trigger behavioral problems. The food industry insists they're safe.

The suggested revisions can be made beginning Tuesday through an editing tool that already has been used to create and refine maps in 183 other countries since 2005.

CRIMINAL LAW - ARRESTING DEVELOPMENTS:

Tween Trouble
GIRL, 12, TRIES TO ROB STORE AT GUNPOINT
(FindLaw's Blotter) - It's not every day that a 12-year-old robs a store. Or at least tries to. But that's just what happened at Country Lake Food Center in Highland, Michigan Friday night, when a young girl pointed a nine millimeter gun at employees and demanded cash. Apparently the 12-year-old suspect was a regular at the Highland, Michigan convenience store, which is why employees at first thought that she was joking, reports Fox News.

LEGAL LITE:

Taking Duty on Duty
MAILMAN CAUGHT DEFECATING IN YARD ON POSTAL ROUTE
(FindLaw's Legally Weird) - If there was ever a time to be thankful for nosy neighbors, it's when your neighborhood postman decides to defecate on your front yard. Yep, you read that right. Don Derfler of Portland, Oregon photographed his mail carrier dropping trou on his neighbor's lawn last week, and no one knows just why the pooping mailman did it.
