COURT REFUSES TO HEAR NADER CHALLENGE
(AP) - The Supreme Court has turned away Ralph Nader's appeal of a Hawaiian court's decision keeping him off the state's presidential ballot in 2004. The high court refused to hear Nader's appeal on Monday. Elections officials kept Nader off Hawaii's 2004 ballot because supporters had failed to submit the required number of signatures.

GLENN BECK'S FOX SHOW DROPPED
(AP) - Fox News Channel on Wednesday said it was dropping Glenn Beck's afternoon talk show, which has sunk in the ratings and suffered financially due to an advertiser boycott. Fox and Beck said the show will end later this year. Fox News and Beck's company, Mercury Radio Arts, said they will work together to create other projects for Fox television and digital.

FAA SAYS ANOTHER CONTROLLER WENT TO SLEEP ON JOB
(AP) - The Federal Aviation Administration has uncovered a second incident of an air traffic controller sleeping on the job, but in this case the napping was deliberate. "(I am) disappointed to say we did find another incident ... just one," FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt told a hearing of the House Appropriations Committee's transportation subcommittee. "We are in the process of disciplinary hearings that will terminate this employee ... This was a willful violation," Babbitt said.

SHOPPERS' SPENDING SURPRISINGLY STRONG IN MARCH
(AP) - Shoppers shrugged off higher gas prices and cool temperatures to give retailers a surprisingly strong March. The retail revenue figures released Thursday extend the streak of solid spending from late last year and indicate that recent job growth is tempering worries about higher pump prices. A broad range of stores from Costco Wholesale Corp. to Victoria's Secret parent company Limited Brands Inc. reported revenue gains that handily beat Wall Street expectations.

COURT: CAN GENERIC DRUG MAKER BE SUED OVER LABELS?
(AP) - The Supreme Court will decide this summer whether to allow generic drug makers to be sued for not trying to get federal regulators to add warnings about potentially dangerous side effects to their drug labels. The high court on Wednesday heard arguments from PLIVA Inc., which is trying to stop lawsuits against it.

(FindLaw's Common Law) - If you recently received an email from a company you do business with, your information may have been stolen as part of the Epsilon data breach. Epsilon is a marketing company that manages e-mail lists for a variety of large companies, such as Target, Kroger, Marriot, Best Buy and a host of banks. Last week, hackers broken into their system, stealing potentially millions of email addresses, opening up customers to e-mail phishing scams.

US TO USE FACEBOOK, TWITTER TO ISSUE TERROR ALERTS
(AP) - The government's color-coded warning system is being replaced with a more specific and informative plan that would offer two levels of alerts - elevated and imminent. According to a draft Homeland Security Department plan obtained by The Associated Press, the public could see the warnings on Facebook and Twitter.

AMY POEHLER NAMED HARVARD'S 'CLASS DAY' SPEAKER
(AP) - Harvard has announced that comedian and actress Amy Poehler has been selected as this year's "Senior Class Day" speaker. The school announced Tuesday that the Massachusetts native will address graduates and their families in Harvard Yard's Tercentenary Theatre on May 25. The annual ceremony is scheduled the day before commencement and is a chance for Harvard's senior class to socialize one last time before graduating.
