NEW & NOTEWORTHY: TRUMP STALLS TV CONTRACT WHILE MULLING CAMPAIGN
(AP) - Donald Trump says he has put off agreeing to an extension of his "Celebrity Apprentice" reality show while he weighs a presidential bid. The real estate mogul and potential Republican contender says he told NBC on Friday he could not commit to a three-year contract extension for the series until he decides whether he's running.
| IRS DOUBTS NICOLAS CAGE GAVE AWAY $1.8M IN GIFTS
(FindLaw's Celebrity Justice) - For Nicolas Cage, tax problems are nothing new. On the heels of a 2009 standoff with the IRS, TMZ reports that the agency has filed a federal tax lien against the actor, claiming that he now owes the government taxes on $1.8 million worth of gifts. The IRS wants its $624,934.64 and they want it now.
| SYLVESTER STALLONE HAS FAKE 'ROCKY' GLOVES PULLED FROM AUCTION
(FindLaw's Celebrity Justice) - Sylvester Stallone takes his image seriously. Or at least his Rocky gloves seriously. After Sly got wind that a Hollywood memorabilia company was set to auction off a pair of gloves he reportedly used during the six-part boxing saga, he threatened to sue. The cease and desist letter sent by Sylvester Stallone to Profiles In History--a fairly reputable dealer in Hollywood artifacts--claims that the Rocky gloves are fakes. It, however, doesn't explain how the actor knows this.

While judge favorite Pia Toscano was being kicked off, the show's ushers were kicking 19-year-old Ashley Kauffman and her two friends into the back row. The reason? She was too fat, and they weren't dressed well enough.
| NY MANSION LINKED TO 'GREAT GATSBY' BEING RAZED
(AP) - A 25-room New York mansion that some scholars believe inspired "The Great Gatsby" is being razed for a subdivision. Demolition of the mansion known as Land's End began Saturday. It's being replaced by five houses priced at $10 million each. The 13-acre property faces the Long Island Sound.
| SHEEN LAWYER, SHOW PRODUCER DISAGREE ABOUT RETURN
(AP) - Charlie Sheen's attorney and the producers of "Two and a Half Men" dispute whether there's any possibility of his return to the CBS comedy. Lawyers for Warner Bros. Television said in a letter Thursday that there had been no talks about bringing the troubled actor back, and there will be none.

ARRESTING DEVELOPMENTS: ACTOR NICOLAS CAGE ARRESTED IN NEW ORLEANS
(AP) - Actor Nicolas Cage was arrested after he got drunk in the city's French Quarter and argued in the street with his wife over whether a house they were in front of was theirs, police said Saturday. The couple was in front of a home that Cage insisted they were renting, police said. When she said it wasn't theirs, Cage grabbed her arm, according to a police news release.
| TRIAL OF MICHAEL JACKSON'S DOCTOR: IMPARTIAL JURY ELUSIVE
(FindLaw's Celebrity Justice) - The trial of Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson's doctor, is underway in a Los Angeles courtroom, with attorneys slowly working their way through jury selection. Murray, who is charged with involuntary manslaughter for negligently supplying the King of Pop with Propofol, is already facing an uphill battle. After the first round of questioning, it's clear that an impartial jury may not be possible. Out of a pool of hundreds of jurors, over half responded to a questionnaire stating that they are not available for a two month period, reports USA Today.
