NEW & NOTEWORTHY:

KATE GOSSELIN STIFFS MARRIAGE COUNSELOR, JON'S LIFE COACH?
(FindLaw's Celebrity Justice) - If you've ever seen the newly rebranded Jon and Kate Plus 8 or Dancing with the Stars, you know that Kate Gosselin has been wearing out her welcome on the main stage. That is to say, she's overworking her 15 minutes of fame and isn't above selling herself or her children for a little cash. Given these facts, it's surprising to announce that Kate Gosselin might just be telling the truth.

SHAMWOW GUY TRIED TO MAKE ASSISTANT 'LOVE SLAVE,' SUIT SAYS
(FindLaw's Celebrity Justice) - The ShamWow! guy is apparently not only creepy looking, but is also a big creep. You know the ShamWow! Guy, he's the As Seen on TV pitchman with the British accent that gets really excited about cleaning up with the ShamWow! Vince Shlomi (he has a name!) is being sued by his former live-in assistant who is accusing him of trying to turn her into his 'love slave.' He also offered to pay her $20,000 to help him create ShamWow! babies.

PHILIPPINES TV SHOW PULLED OVER CRYING BOY'S DANCE
(AP) - The Philippines' most popular TV game show was pulled off the air Monday amid a public uproar over the host letting a crying 6-year-old boy mimic a striptease dancer. "Willing Willie" host Willie Revillame said he was taking two weeks of leave after which he will announce if he'll return to television. Angry viewers and commentators have launched a campaign on social-networking sites to remove Revillame from the show, which offers cash prizes for singing, dancing, storytelling and playing games. They say Revillame showed poor taste and mocked his mostly impoverished viewers by allowing the crying boy to gyrate as a striptease dancer.

ANTI-WAR ICON BOB DYLAN JAMS IN A VIETNAM AT PEACE
(AP) - Bob Dylan, whose anti-war anthems made him the face of protest against a war that continues to haunt a generation of Americans, finally got his chance to see Vietnam - at peace. The 69-year-old Dylan took to the stage in the former Saigon on Sunday, singing such favorites as "A Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall" and "Highway 61 Revisited." Only about half of the 8,000 seats were sold to a mix of Vietnamese and foreigners who danced on the grass in the warm evening air as Dylan jammed on guitar, harmonica and the keyboard at RMIT University.

SIENNA MILLER: STILL SUING OVER TABLOID PHONE HACK
(AP) - Prominent Britons who accuse a tabloid newspaper of hacking into their phone messages said Saturday they were not satisfied with the paper's apology and offer of compensation. The News of the World has acknowledged eavesdropping on the voicemails of public figures and says it will pay compensation for an unspecified number of "justifiable claims." But the admission has done little to end a scandal that has rattled Britain's political establishment and Rupert Murdoch's media empire.

LA COUNCILMEN FINED OVER FREE AWARD SHOW TICKETS
(AP) - Four City Council members agreed to pay $13,300 in fines for improperly accepting free tickets to Hollywood shows and dinners, including the Academy Awards. The city Ethics Commission, which issued a report on the fines Friday, is scheduled to vote Tuesday on whether to accept deals with Tony Cardenas, Eric Garcetti, Jose Huizar and Herb Wesson. City law prohibited them from accepting gifts worth more than $100 a year from donors that have business before the city.

DONALD TRUMP BUYS VA. WINERY AT FORECLOSURE SALE
(AP) - Donald Trump has bought a Virginia vineyard at a foreclosure auction and wants to produce wines. Media outlets report that representatives for Trump bought the winery Thursday and Trump is in talks with former owners William Moses and Patricia Kluge about running the operation. Kluge Estate Winery and Vineyards in Charlottesville was put up for sale by a creditor bank. Preliminary estimates indicate the property sold for less than $7.5 million before any fees. It was estimated to be worth more than $70 million before the recession.

NJ LAWMAKER: WHY SHOULD STUDENTS PAY FOR SNOOKI?
(AP) - One New Jersey lawmaker doesn't think reality TV star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is worth the $32,000 she was paid to dish her GTL - gym, tanning, laundry - lifestyle at Rutgers University. State Sen. Joe Kyrillos says students attending public colleges shouldn't be required to fund entertainment they find objectionable through mandatory activity fees.

GLENN BECK'S FOX SHOW ENDING
(AP) - Glenn Beck later this year will end his Fox News Channel talk show, which has sunk in the ratings and has suffered from an advertiser boycott. Fox and Beck's company, Mercury Radio Arts, said Wednesday they will stay in business creating other projects for Fox television and digital, starting with some documentaries Beck is preparing. Beck was a quick burn on Fox News Channel. Almost immediately after joining the network in January 2009, he doubled the ratings at his afternoon time slot

DIGITAL COPYRIGHT NEWS:

RICK JAMES' ESTATE SUES UNIVERSAL FOR DIGITAL MUSIC ROYALTIES
(FindLaw's Celebrity Justice) - The Super Freak is back from the grave! Okay, no he isn't. But his estate is. On the heels of the Supreme Court's refusal to hear Universal Music Group's (UMG) appeal of a 9th Circuit decision awarding Eminem 50% of all digital royalties, funk legend Rick James' estate has filed suit. It's a class action, too.

LAWYERS FOR JACKSON DOC TRY TO LIMIT TESTIMONY
(AP) - Jurors in the involuntary manslaughter case against Michael Jackson's doctor should not be told about the physician's messy personal life, including his unpaid debts and extramarital affairs, attorneys argued in court filings obtained Thursday. The details are unnecessary and would unfairly prejudice a jury against Dr. Conrad Murray, the documents state.

ARRESTING DEVELOPMENTS:

MOTLEY CRUE'S VINCE NEIL CHARGED WITH BATTERY
(FindLaw's Celebrity Justice) - Vince Neil has had an interesting career. First there was Motley Crue. Then there were race cars, followed by a less than stellar solo career. Again with Motley Crue. And then The Surreal Life. This last one ended in a marriage, by the way. We can now add criminal poker to the list. Oh yes, Vince Neil is being charged with battery after he allegedly poked three people, including ex-girlfriend Alicia Jacobs.
