PRENUPTIAL AGREEMENTS: TOP 5 WAYS TO INVALIDATE
(FindLaw's Law & Daily Life) - Prenuptial agreements, or "prenups," are a popular topic here at FindLaw. Questions that come up often are, "Is my prenuptial agreement valid?" "Can my prenuptial agreement be invalidated?" Here are five situations in which your prenup is either invalid or can be invalidated...

March Madness
NCAA BASKETBALL OFFICE POOLS: ARE THEY LEGAL?
(FindLaw's Free Enterprise) - March Madness is here and ready to distract your employees. They will be filling out brackets this week, crumpling them up, picking No. 5 seeds for upsets. And they'll be gambling the whole time, too. You may have let it slide during the Super Bowl, but with office pools cropping up everywhere, you're probably wondering whether you have a legal obligation to shut them down. It depends.

EX-DOCTOR SMOKED 30 JOINTS A DAY: FACES 7 YEARS
(FindLaw's Blotter) - Thirty joints a day put a New Jersey doctor away. "I was smoking 30 joints a day and not getting much done a day," Ex Dr. Edwin Bliss Struve told Superior Court Judge David Ironson of life before his arrest last year. Police obtained a warrant and searched his house in May 2010 and found 58 marijuana plants. "I've been cultivating them ever since I came home from the Army in '68," Struve told the Judge Ironson. The ex-doctor pleaded guilty to marijuana plant growing and will likely be placed in a mental health program after his sentencing.

TOM BRADY, PEYTON MANNING ARE NAMED PLAINTIFFS IN NFL LAWSUIT
(FindLaw's Tarnished Twenty) - Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Drew Brees are known for being top-notch competitors on the gridiron, but what about in the courtroom? The All-pro NFL quarterbacks are listed along with Vincent Jackson, Mike Vrabel, and Von Milleras as plaintiffs in a class-action antitrust lawsuit filed against the NFL. They allege that the league and teams "have jointly agreed and conspired to deny plaintiffs the ability to provide and/or market their services," Reuters reports.

ZEDIVA TAPS LOOPHOLE, OFFERS NEW MOVIES ONLINE
(AP) - (AP) - A California startup is making new hit movies such as "The Fighter" available for instant viewing online through a loophole: It lets customers rent a DVD and a player that are actually located in the Silicon Valley. By doing this, Zediva Inc. appears to circumvent the usual, sometimes lengthy waiting period that movie studios impose on Netflix Inc. and other companies that offer streaming of movies to Internet-connected TVs, laptops and other gadgets.

CRIMINAL LAW - ARRESTING DEVELOPMENTS:

What's On Your Mind?
COUPLE JAILED: POSTED STOLEN RING ON FACEBOOK
(FindLaw's Blotter) - Bragging about the ring that your boyfriend got you can land both of you in jail. That's the lesson that one Crystal A. Yamnitzkylearned after she posted a photo of her three-carat diamond engagement ring on Facebook. It turns out that her boyfriend, Robert Driscoll, is acussed of stealing the ring as well as: a diamond ring worth $250; a gold pearl ring valued at $20; another engagement ring of unknown value, and a 14-karat gold cross charm valued at $50. Quite a nice little take, though the plan might not have been all that well thought out...

Vampire Tales
ARIZONA 'VAMPIRE' STABS ROOMMATE FOR NOT LETTING HIM SUCK BLOOD
(FindLaw's Legally Weird) - An Arizona vampire, er, bloodsucker, named Aaron Homer was sentenced to three years of probation for stabbing his roommate after he refused him his blood. Yeah, you can't blame this one on Edward Cullen and crew. They're vegetarians. And the only girl involved was 21--not 15. Aaron Homer and his girlfriend are so into "vampire stuff" that they often see fit to act out the more gruesome scenes from True Blood. The Arizona vampire aficionados apparently once convinced Homer's roommate to offer up his blood for their slurping pleasure.

LEGAL LITE:

Going Gaga
LADY GAGA PUTS THE SQUEEZE ON BREAST MILK ICE CREAM
(FindLaw's Legal Grounds) - The last person one would ever expect to accuse an item of being distasteful and "nausea-inducing" is Lady Gaga. After all, she wears meat dresses and performs drenched in (hopefully) fake blood. But when it comes to someone cashing in on her provocative image, she's in it for the kill. A U.K. ice cream parlor--The Icecreamists--made headlines when it began to sell Baby Gaga--a breast milk ice cream flavored with vanilla and lemon zest. Local officials confiscated the concoction, returning it only after it tested safe.

QUENTIN TARANTINO SUES NEIGHBOR OVER 'BLOOD-CURDLING SCREAMS'
(FindLaw's Celebrity Justice) - Hollywood has a lot of interesting lawsuits. Take Quentin Tarantino, he's suing a neighbor for the "pterodactyl-like" screams coming from his "exotic bird menagerie." (Does Tarantino really know what kind of sound a pterodactyl makes?)
