NEW & NOTEWORTHY:

QUENTIN TARANTINO SUES NEIGHBOR OVER 'BLOOD-CURDLING SCREAMS'
(FindLaw's Celebrity Justice) - Hollywood has a lot of interesting lawsuits. Take Quentin Tarantino, he's suing a neighbor for the "pterodactyl-like" screams coming from his "exotic bird menagerie." (Does Tarantino really know what kind of sound a pterodactyl makes?)

AFLAC DUCK NO MORE: GILBERT GOTTFRIED FIRED OVER JAPAN JOKES
(FindLaw's Celebrity Justice) - Comedy is largely a matter of timing. Comedian Gilbert Gottfried missed that memo, and wound up losing a cushy voiceover job because of a lack of sensitivities. Gottfriend, who was the voice of the Aflac duck, posted some off color jokes about the 8.9 magnitude Japan earthquake and tsunami on his Twitter account, Reuters reports. Gottfried's jokes included: "Japan is really advanced. They don't go to the beach. The beach comes to them." Did we mention that according to the Associated Press, 75% of Aflac's business is in Japan? Ooops.

CHUCK LORRE: CHARLIE SHEEN'S LAWSUIT 'RECKLESSLY FALSE FANTASY'
(FindLaw's Celebrity Justice) - Those of you who are sick of Charlie Sheen should click on one of the posts below. And those of you who are deriving pleasure from Hollywood's latest and greatest public meltdown? Well, you should just pick up a book. Just kidding. Put the book back and read on--Chuck Lorre has responded to the Charlie Sheen lawsuit, and bless his heart, he's just concerned about Sheen's health. By now you should all know that the Charlie Sheen lawsuit is an intriguing mix of conspiracy theory and hatred of Chuck Lorre. Guess what? Lorre doesn't disagree with this assessment.

'SURVIVOR'S' RICHARD HATCH SURRENDERS TO PRISON OFFICIALS
(FindLaw's Celebrity Justice) - Reality bites for former Survivor winner Richard Hatch. Hatch on Monday surrendered to U.S. marshals in Rhode Island to serve a nine-month prison sentence. Hatch, 49, failed to pay the taxes due on his $1 million winnings from the first season of the CBS show "Survivor." U.S. District Court Judge William Smith ordered Hatch to serve time in prison. Hatch, currently staring on Celebrity Apprentice, maintains his innocence and plans to appeal the decision.

ARRESTING DEVELOPMENTS:

TUDORS STAR JONATHAN RHYS MEYERS SUED FOR DRUNKEN RAMPAGE
(FindLaw's Celebrity Justice) - If you think Henry VIII was a tyrant, then you might not be surprised to hear that the actor who plays him on Showtime's The Tudors is a bit of a tyrant too. Jonathan Rhys Meyers had to get it from somewhere, right? However, there is one difference between Meyers and the King he portrays. Henry VIII quite enjoyed the act of beheading, while Meyers simply fancies the combination of airplanes and being drunk.

MEL GIBSON'S MUGSHOT, FINGERPRINT TAKEN: WHAT IS A BOOK AND RELEASE?
(FindLaw's Celebrity Justice) - The Mel Gibson mugshot is out and it looks like the battle with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva has taken a toll on the actor's appearance. Moping away and in need of some serious botox, the actor popped into the El Segundo police station Wednesday night after pleading no contest to domestic battery at the end of last week. There won't be any jail time for the actor, so why the Mel Gibson mugshot? And the fingerprints? Has someone finally decided to make a buck off the guy?
